Why Don’t You……..!

I hate to be asked , ” Why do you look so unhappy, smile.” I can be in a great mood and this question will cause irritation within me. I usually respond with, ” Why do you form opinion by how someone looks” or “I was in a great mood until you showed up”.

It amazes me how we all judge a book by its cover. We all do this from time to time, I try and not form opinion by outward appearances. I must admit it is difficult not doing this when the person looks a certain way. For me it’s the people who are always smiling. It’s not the constant smile but the expectation I should be like them. Some people add insult by avoiding the unsmiling person. This is rude on a couple of levels the main one being condescension. Yes the world could be coming to an end by nuclear proliferation and some would be smiling till the skin melted off the face.

Yes the always smiling smilers of the world do unite. Just not in my world of smile illiterates. This is my opinion hope it was entertaining. If you are a smiler, nothing wrong with it just don’t ask me why I’m not smiling. Just know when I grow up I want to be just like YOU smiley.
