Orson…

There are not many personal belongings that I hold dear to me. The exceptions are a stuffed animal named Orson and a few letters.

5 months ago my fiance passed away. She was disabled by an aneurysm and a stroke. She survived thanks to a great doctor and fast paramedics. I helped her every day with everyday things . It was a great relationship I helped her, and she helped me by providing purpose in my life, which I love. One day, while I helped her up to walk, she slipped to the floor she had another aneurysm. She passed away me being the last person to hold her hand.

I have many memories of her and I. She left her favorite stuffed animal she called Orson. It is amazing how this stuffed pig, Orson, became my most personal possession along with the few letters I cherish. I miss her terribly, and Orson is my only link to her. At times when I am missing her, I hug Orson and am able to remember her renewing my hope that I will see her again.
