What sacrifices have you made in life?

So dramatic, sacrifice of the soul, is this person on drugs? What does that even mean?

I wish that everyone can or will choose to accept that Jesus Christ chose to make the ultimate sacrifice when He chose to WILLINGLY endure humility, shame, and pain. Jesus chose to willingly lay down on a cross after dragging it to the spot called Galgotha, the skull. He lay down on that cross while the Roman soldiers pulled His arms out of socket and nailed His wrists to that wood feeling every bit of the pain as the spikes went through bone and nerves. The ankles one upon the other, then a spike nailed straight through the bone through the other bone, and He was nailed to this cross. The Romans were experts at this, and the cross was reserved for the worst of crimes. The cross was a curse . It was a curse to be nailed to a cross. After Jesus willingly allowed himself to be this sacrifice, enduring every bit of the experience of this punishment. To be the perfect sacrifice, He had to willingly choose to allow the price a perfect sacrifice charged, obedience. He could not resist. He had to lay on that cross. He could not complain or cry out in protest. After the Roman’s nailed him to this cross, his arms out of socket, they stood that cross up and dropped it into the hole in the ground. Jesus felt every bit of the jolt of that cross dropping to the bottom of that hole. He was raised up on display naked for all to see. They made fun of Him hanging there. They gambled for his clothing. All this He chose to allow, enduring a punishment all of us deserved and were heading for. God knew man could not be the perfect sacrifice required to escape the death sentence each person is born with. God did it all for us. God wrote the law, put it into action, and then subjected himself to His own law. Allowing the people He chose to inflict this punishment. The penalty He endured He instituted.  When He died, man did not take His life. He chose to give up His spirit. His life only after He finished being the perfect sacrifice required by the law He wrote. He went to hell 3 days in our place. Death could not hold Him cause He was the perfect sacrifice in our place. He rose again, hell could not hold him. When he was released from hell, he took the keys of life and death with Him. The authority He took back filled the universe, the whole creation. This is the authority lost when Adam and Eve disobeyed God. He gained it all back for us and gave mankind gifts as well. He then sat at the right hand of His father, where he sits today. After writing this, I can not write anything about any sacrifice I have endured, and I have sacrificed in my life. Nothing compared to the love shown by God himself. Sacrifice is love itself.

For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, Jesus John 3:16.
