I go hiking or get out of the house riding my bike. These are some ways I manage my negative emotions.
Lets see if I can try and identify what a negative emotion is. I have a hard time managing something If I dont know what I am managing.

What is a negative emotion? Can I identify a few?
I had two very difficult events happen December 26 2023 and again December 27 2023. My Girlfriend and partner passed away in my hands at 49 years old. Very stressful , sadness, sense of loss, regrets and mourning I think are all negative emotions. Some of these I just press through without really managing them.
The other event was losing my dog Missy. I watched helplessy while she was hit by 3 cars. I cried like a baby in the middle of that road over my dog. Had her creamated and it was like losing my kid or something. Helpless, desparing, surreal, and also regret. These are some more negative emotions. We have identified a few negative emotions. My question to myself is, are negative emotions to be avoided seeking only positive ones? Is it possible to avoid neg emotion? Thinking about this I begin to think maybe there are no real negative emotions or positive ones either. Just emotion, just feelings we all feel being Human. Events happen beyond our control. I dont see these emotions as negative. To feel is just as natural as breathing. My opinion.
