The Ways of a Phase !

I have had a couple of phases over the past 50 years. Went thru the military phase, the having to have a wife phase. I went through a Country Western phase. Right down to the Tony Llama boots , Stetson on my head and plenty of Jim and Jack, J and J brothers. Of course my favorite song was “Shameless” by Garth Brooks. Yes it was fun but not hard to say goodbye to, especially after my 3 rd car wreck. The phase of my life hard to say goodbye to is using a substance or another person to indulge in. all the real hard things in my life have been born from this desire to use something. At 61 years old I am still finding it difficult to say goodbye to things in my life I find pleasure from even fun times. This phase is long overdue to be left behind.
